VX_Messenger bag

The new Mission Workshop AP Series is a glimpse into the underbelly of Mission Workshop R&D. This is the place where we cut, bend, smash, and burn anything that might reveal a path to a better product. This is where we don't try to be different, just better.
The first project to be debuted in the AP Series are the VX messenger bags which feature the Arkiv® closure system with matching gun-metal buckle hardware only found on the AP series bags. The bags themselves are made with a 1000d VX Cordura outer layer laminated to a PTFE membrane, resulting in an exceptionally durable and waterproof barrier to the elements. Like all of our messenger bags, they feature a weatherproof roll top main compartment which can be used in either the "roll top" mode, or in the traditional "flap down" configuration.

Bike helmet by Lacoste

(Ciao, capelli a caschetto!)
Bike helmets aren't exactly lauded for their fashion-forwardness. (Hello, helmet hair!) For a noggin protector that doesn't make you look like a sweaty quarterback or someone who's making a grab for the Tour de France championship title, take a gander at designer Kyle J. Ferguson's eco-friendly concept helmet for Lacoste. Comprising sustainable materials like organic wool, thermoformed bio-plastic, low-density cork and soy-based foam, Ferguson's helmet is, in his own words, "well-suited to leisurely rides around town, running errands, or commuting."

Save the track bike!
Who doesn’t love buttons? And who doesn’t like making a statement? This isn’t political. I’m not here to tell you what kind of bike to ride. Because really…I don’t care as long as you’re on a bike. This is just a little reminder of where everyone came from.

Bike shelf
(re-nest)
Chris Brigham of Knife & Saw wants to solve your bike storage problem: after noticing a void in "elegant bike management," Mr. Brigham designed this stylish walnut bike shelf suspended by a solid steel square rod mount. It's so streamlined and simple. And besides holding your bike, the shelf can be used for books, flowers, or bike accessories. (re-nest)
