1937

Fino al 1937, la ruota fissa era l’unica bicicletta consentita al Tour de France. Questo a causa di una norma promulgata da Henri Desgrange, che era piuttosto purista. Naturalmente, dopo il 1937 sono stati autorizzati i deragliatori ed eccoci ad oggi. Lo sanno tutti, ma questa foto aveva bisogno di un po’ di storia. Ripresa davvero impressionante!　

Up until 1937, the fixed wheel was the only bicycle permitted to be ridden in the Tour de France. This was because of a rule enacted by Henri Desgrange, who was somewhat of a purist. Of course, after 1937 derailleurs were allowed and here we are today. This may be common knowledge, but this photo needed a bit of a backstory. Really awesome shot!
