Questa nuova fissa mi è stata ispirata da un vecchio disco di Joni Mitchell, registrato dal vivo a Santa Barbara nel 1979, nel quale suonavano artisti del calibro di Jaco Pastorius, Michael Brecker, Don Alias, Pat Metheny e Lyle Mays, tutti musicisti provenienti dal jazz o dalla fusion. Il tema ricorrente anche in letteratura delle luci ed ombre, evocato dalla voce suadente di Joni, mi ha suscitato il desiderio di fare questa bici, col nero delle sue ombre e la luce delle parti cromate.
For this new fixed I was inspired by an old Joni Mitchell’s record, recorded live in Santa Barbara in 1979, in which played artists such as Jaco Pastorius, Michael Brecker, Don Alias, Pat Metheny and Lyle Mays, all musicians coming from the jazz and fusion. The recurring theme in the literature of light and shadow, evoked by the soothing voice of Joni, aroused me the desire to do this bike, with shadowy black and shining chrome light.
