When people talk of a handmade or custom bicycle they are more than likely referring to having the frame made for them and then choosing the components to best suit that style of the frame (and the size of their bank account). This frame will not exist until its commission.
What we are trying to do is to inform the buying public exactly what they are getting by defining the categories below. Please let us know what you think of these and if we have any glaring omissions ( phil@thmbd.com ).
