(che spero piaccia all’amico Simone).
On the day of the first stage of the Tour 2012 I just ended an interesting refurbishing: a Vicini datable in the 70s with a nice lugged frame of a great red-orange colour, with a chrome fork and a pantographed "V" on the head and with the words "Tour de France" written on the rear. The pipe is a 3TTT pantographed "Vicini". I fell in love with the rims: completely polished and with a low profile, mounted on wonderful Campagnolo hubs. I had to do some 'work' on it, and put a handlebar (Italmanubri), Weinmann brake levers, a comfortable San Marco saddle and the pedals with toe clips and straps, "comme il faut." The result is a very beautiful racing bike (which I hope my friend Simone will like).
