Michael Ubbesen Jakobsen, disegnatore danese, ha presentato al DMY Berlin Design Festival 09 questa bici fissa, ispirata – molto evidentemente – alle linee geometriche della Bauhaus, chiamandola per l’appunto Baubike. L’autore, nel suo sito, spiega come nello spazio che si viene a creare dietro il suo bel sellino Brooks si possano sistemare, a piacere, o un altro sellino per un secondo passeggero oppure un porta oggetti, a seconda delle necessità. Da notare come la struttura angolare del telaio (60° e 90°), disegnata nelle proporzioni della sezione aurea, crei forme che richiamano le stupende opere di Piet Mondrian.
