Angelo Luigi Colombo, appena dodicenne, inizia a lavorare poi si mette in proprio nel 1919 e dà vita a quella che diverrà in breve la Columbus, azienda produttrice dei tubi in acciaio (e non solo) utilizzati per la fabbricazione di telai e forcelle per bici. Oggi fanno molto di più, ma la ricerca nel campo ciclistico continua ancora.
The soul of cycling
Angelo Luigi Colombo started to work just twelve years old, than established himself in 1919 and there was born what will become in the short Columbus, a manufacturer of steel pipes (and not only steel) used for the manufacture of bike frames and forks. Today they do much more, but the research in cycling continues.
